The IGC receives special praise from the Hochschulrektorenkonferenz (German Rectors' Conference). It recognizes the continuing education concept and particularly highlights the service orientation for international students.

Association to Advance Collegiate Business Education Alliance, logo The IGC becomes a member of the Business Education Alliance of the AACSB. A common goal: to improve the quality of teaching in the field of business and economics and the associated international comparability.

Opening of new IGC campus
Opening cerermony of the International Graduate Center building at Langermarck Strasse 113 After two years of renovation and expansion, the building at Langemarckstraße 113 is officially opened as the IGC Campus. The historic building in Bremen's Neustadt district is now home to the International Graduate Center.

EFMD-accredited MBA
The Dual Degree Program International MBA of the IGC receives the EFMD accreditation. The seal of approval is awarded for five years without conditions.
A Glance at the History of IGC
The first MBA degree program at the Hocschule Bremen was created in 1995. Two years later, its first full-time version followed. After gaining profound knowledge of continuing education courses for nearly a decade, the International Graduate Center was founded in 2004. Right from the beginning, the IGC set out to adapt its teaching to the conditions and the needs of students and society. As a result of this, a home was founded for internationally oriented students with a desire to further enhance their education.
The goal has always been clear: an optimal and far-reaching service, which prepares students for the role of leadership.
Today: Internationality, Quality and Practical Relevance
The technical focus of the IGC is on business, management and leadership. The institution is fully accredited and lives from its diversity, which comes about through the diversity of students and teachers, also from the international orientation with IBSA Alliance, dual degrees and partner universities. In addition, the Graduate Center is distinguished by its friendly-welcoming atmosphere and practical relevance to companies. All these aspects make the IGC, and have made it the successful establishment and brand it is today with a wide variety of master programs, nearly 400 students from 35 countries and around 20 employees.
